Attorney Peter G. Howland practices primarily in the areas of Municipal, Zoning & Land Use Law, Real Estate, Business and Corporate Law, and Estate Planning and Estate Administration.
Mr. Howland is a graduate of the Mercersburg Academy and Union College. He received a Master’s Degree in American History from Colorado State University, where he worked as a graduate teaching assistant, and earned his law degree from The Dickinson School of Law of The Pennsylvania State University in Carlisle. At Dickinson, Mr. Howland was an editor of the Penn State Environmental Law Review and a member of the Appellate Moot Court Board. He was admitted to practice before the Pennsylvania state courts in 2003, and he is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Howland is a member of the Dauphin County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations. He is also a licensed Pennsylvania Title Insurance Agent.
Mr. Howland lives in Carlisle with his wife and three sons, and serves on various community boards in the Carlisle area.
